What Effect Can Repeating An Incomplete Dose Of Rabies Vaccination Have?
I have bitten by dog i have injected in my native place for 1st & 2nd dose..but now i am in delhi when i consoled with docter in delhi they asked what type of dose u have take in your native.after that they started from first dose. Please advice me whether it will cause problem?
Rabies vaccine can be administered with a delay of upto 5 days after the start of vaccine treatment without significant antibody suppression within the first month .You can start from third dose.Repeating an incomplete dose of rabies vaccination does not cause harm as long as you do not have any allergy.Since only two doses have been taken, you can start the course again under physician supervision.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
