What Effect Would Diazepam Have On Person With Sarcoidosis?

Hi, I m just wondering if it is safe to take diazepam if you have sarcoidosis? My friend has it and would take a 10 mg tablet maybe around once every 2 weeks when he feels extra stressed, over kids or work etc, just wondering if this is safe? Or if it would make his condition worse?

Hi! Occasional use of diazepam as an anxiolytic should not affect sarcoidosis in any
way. However I'd recommend a psychiatric consultation for a more accurate and scientific treatment of his 'stressed out' episodes. All the best!
