What Else Besides Penicillin Can Provide Relief From Cough Caused By Bronchitis?
My 10 year old son has bronchitis - I took him to the doctor and received some penicillan. He has had 4 doses so far and the coughing seems worse. He is coughing so much he throws up mucus. Is there anything I can do to help him with these coughing fits?

Hi,
These bouts of coughing will be there for some time till infection subsides with antibiotic.
Give some cough suppressant syrup.
Give some broncho dilator inhalation for easy ventilation.
Ok and take care.
