What First Aid Should Be Given To A Diabetic Person Bitten By A Dog?
Hello my name is S/./ron. I was just wondering if someone got bit by a dog, and they are diabetic, and could not go to the Emergency room right away, actually wont be able till the early morning, they will be ok huh?
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Clean the wound. 2. Antiseptic dressing. Anti-tetanus vaccination 3. Identify whether the dog is vaccinated or not. If not, Vaccinate the person. Systemic antibiotics maybe necessary depending on size of wound. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
