What Food Should Be Given To A 8 Month Old Baby Having Frequent Bowel Movement?

My eight months old baby is having increased frequency of motions(17-18) since past 6 days. Doctors say she is not dehydrated so nothing to worry. What diet should I give now. According to our Family tradition she cannot have rice till 4th Nov 13. Please suggest a diet

Hi...as now we are past that date by more than a month..and if your baby still has diarrhea... you can give him rice...
