What Food To Take As Alternative For Khichri While Suffering From Typhoid ?

Hi Doctor My son is affected by typhoid for last 10 days i have consult with doctors they suggest me to give khichri plz suggest me the alternative food i should give to my child.

What is the age of your child?In any mild ill baby we usually give the normal diet if he can take it.The other things important things is that Typhoid is a VACCINE prevented disease and every child sould take the vaccine at 2 and 5 years of age.

Hi Bikram,

Welcome to Healthcare magic forum,
The main diet for typhoid is bland diet, that is without oil and spice, khichiri is good and also u can give him boiled vegetables, rice and dhal, idly, dosa, bread, with no spice and oil.
U have to give him atleast 2-3 lts of water to keep him well hydrated.
Anything without oil and spice.
