What Foods Have To Be Taken Before The Test As I Have Not Received The Instructions List?

What is the day before the test include-I was to receive instructions by mail sat. My test is early Monday &I received nothing by mail . I tried the phone numbers on my sheet &of course no one answers. Now I m afraid I ll get there & have eaten the wrong food. Can u help?

Thank you for your query, and i understand your situation.
Well different tests require different needs. If you are going in for a regular blood test, then you can eat your routine breakfast. If your test involves checking your fasting blood sugar level or lipid profile then you need to go on empty stomach.
Some tests even require over night fasting ( you need to have your previous night dinner before 9 pm ).
There is no particular food restrictions for routine tests.
If you are on thyroid drugs and going to get your thyroid profile , you need to skip the drug on the day of the test.
It would be helpfull for me to guide you if you gave the exact details of what tests you are about to take.
