I am having burning, what may be heartburn, but in the back of my throat, at the top of my esphogas. I have not been able to determine what foods are trigging this. I ve tried otc meds, milk, etc. I do not want to take prescription meds for this. suggestions, please?
You are having acid reflux problem. For that rule out underlying cause like obesity, smoking, Hiatus hernia, too much fatty foods etc and corrected accordingly. You can take rabeprazole like antacid which is safe to take. I suggest you following non pharmacological measures as well.
_Head elevation while sleeping
_Avoid excess spicy foods, smoking and too much fatty foods
_Chocolates intake restricted as they lower LES
_Go to sleep two hour after eating.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
