What Happens After Overdosage Of Microgram Thyroxine?

Hi my 4 year old son says he has taken 5 of my 50 microgram thyroxine tablets he looks fine and not throwing up at all and I was just wondering what do I do is there anything I should look out for or do in case he has taken the tablets. Because he is also saying he spat them out and didn't swallow them.

Hello,
Welcome to health care magic
Your son should be immediately taken to hospital. If you go early then they will give give stomach wash to remove unabsorbed medicine .They will give him iv fluids to remove it quickly from blood.He need to be monitored for signs of hyperthyroidism like tachycardia and arrhythmia, seizure.
