What Happens After Taking Mifepristone And Misoprostol?
hello doctor; i am 4 week pregnant and i want to abort how can i may 29 i got my periods then june 29 i did not get on 2nd reult was positive . on 3rd i had mifepristone 200 mg in morning the i had to take misoprostol 200 mg on 5th what will happen after taking i am nervous help me
Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion bleeding usually starts after taking misoprostol.Nothing happens after taking mifepristone.Rarely bleeding might start after taking mifepristone also.Bleeding might be more than the usual period.But if bleeding or irregular spotting continues even after 14 days after taking medicine incomplete abortion should be ruled out.But I sincerely suggest you not to take medicine for termination of pregnancy on your own.Take them under doctor supervision to avoid complications like incomplete abortion ,heavy bleeding etc. Best regards...Dr srilatha
