What Happens If Projestron Is Taken At The Time Of Pregnancy?

Hi, this is for my sister- in - law. she got pregnant in Dec 2010, but had to have it aborted as there was no growth of the egg. since then her periods have been irregular, she got her last period on 21st May 2011 and went to her Gynac to discuss her irregular cycle. She was put on Duphoston for 4 days fron Hune 14th to June 18th.... today she was having sore breasts and slight pain in her tummy... she just checked with the pregnancy test and it showed PREGNANT.... she wants to know will she bleed as she has had the projestron and if she is pregnant will the baby be ok???????? please Help!

Hello dear,i understand your concern.In my opinion the duphaston does not harm pregnancy and dont cause bleeding also.Infact dupaston is given in pregnancy in cases with suspicion of miscarriage.Dupaston helps in the mainatainance of pregnancy in such cases.So dont worry.Relax.
Avoid stress and physical strain.
