hello i just found out that i am 4 months pregnants a couple of days ago and today i went to get my ultrasound and they said that the limbs and all are moving.. i did not know i was withchild and i was at work lifting boxes and i had a couple of drinks a couple of weeks later. but i just started my prenatal vitamins. have i started to late but i did not know.
I understand your concern and I will do everything I can to answer your question.
Congratulations. Try not to worry, you are not alone: many moms discover they are pregnant much later than 4 months and usually everything is fine.
A few alcoholic drinks are very unlikely to hurt the baby: don't drink any more of course but don't worry that the baby was hurt.
The prenatal vitamins (particularly calcium and iron) are mostly important after 4 months. Keep on the vitamins and, again, almost for sure, no harm done.
Likewise: exercise and even heavy lifting is safe during the pregnancy. They are very well protected in there and the research is very clear: serious athletes (including marathon runners and weightlifters) have the healthiest babies. Most moms get to a point where exercise gets uncomfortable but you can't hurt the pregnancy with almost any amount of lifting or exercise.
I hope that helps and best of luck to you
