What Infection Causes More Puss Cells And Suggest Treatment?

i have a 6month son, recently he got diarrhea,we go to lab test and found pus cells more than normal count with significant mucus, i want to know which kind of infection he is having and what could be the batter drug to treat the infection, i would like to thanks any kind of help.

Hi...pus cells in stool routine and microscopic examination is quite normal. It doesn't mean that it is suggestive of a serious bacterial or fungal infection.

If the kid is active and voiding well and not dehydrated then you need not worry.
