Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If you are trying to conceive then you don't need to take Progylton. Because it's an oral contraceptive pill and it will hamper your pregnancy. You can continue Metformin though.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Tablet Progyluton is a combined pill with estrogen and progesterone component and yes one of its use is contraception and you won’t conceive when you are on the pill. But then your doctor might have prescribed it because of some hormonal imbalances that is High LH levels and to regularise your periods. Please continue Metformin.
This tablet Progyluton can be taken for one month that’s the 21day course and on 2nd day of period kindly check your LH levels. If they are normal then contact your doctor who will proscribe some ovulation induction tablets, using which you can conceive for sure. All the best.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
