What Is A Small Bruise On The Arm Of A Child Which Looks Like A Knot?

About 3 months ago I found a small pea sized bruise on the back of my sons arm. He is 3 and it is common to find small bruises on all 3 year old boys... However this bruise has not gone away. It hasn't changed in size or color except now it is like a knot under the skin. When I touch it it doesn't seem to bother him. What could it be?

HI. It is common to have such swellings in a 3 year old. It can be a small sebaceous cyst or a lipoma as it is like a knot under the skin. Both are benign and do not cause any harm.
