What Is A Swollen Knot On The Side Of My Ear After A Jaw Surgery?

age of 9 I shad a surgery on the inside of my jaw to remove a cyst, After the surgery they took out bone from my hip to be placed in my jaw 20 years later I just noticed a swollen knot on the side of my ear where my jawbone meets the ear it is hard and swollen, same side where I had surgery when I was 9 also I drank 100percent lemon juice before this at least 6 bottles for 2 weeks straight and this came up

I have gone through your query regarding a hard knot on the side of the ear. though you had been operated for a cyst at the same place about 20 years back.

According to your clinical history most likely you are having enlarged lymph node on the side of your ear. To confirm the diagnosis and plan for treatment you should do-

- FNAC from knot.

- Ultrasonography of area affected.

In this way one may find out the nature of knot and accordingly it may be plan for treatment.
