What Is Best Treatment For Cataract Without Any Side Effect ?

i am from kolhapur my mom( age 50) have a motibindu in one eye since monthe ago & she is dibatise (230 ) patient so what is best treatment without any side effect & where will we do this treatment ...? plss suggest me best doctor near 200km circle from kolhapur & which lenc are best in 1:acrisoft aye lences 2:multifocal lences 3:restore lences its better to if u tell aproxmetly charges....

First of all her Dibetes should be under control that means PPBS should be less than 200mg%. For cataract best treatment now a days is to remove the cataract through micro incision.The procedure is known as Micro Phaco.At the same time the artificial Foldable lens is being inserted .The procedure is done under Topical anasthesia without any injection and Patching of the eye after the surgery. The cost will vary depending on cost of material used during the surgery and experience of the Doctor. Lenses manufactured by Alcon Company are cosidered as a good quality. The brand name is Acrysof. She can choose monofocal lens straight away as there are no contraindications but if she wants to go for Multifocal(the brand name is Restor) than the doctor should examine her whether her eye and her life style will suit to multifocal or not. The approximate charge for operation using the said technique and monofocal lens would be around 30000 Rs and for Restor would be 65000 Rs.
