OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

There are several causes of abnormal uterine bleeding so an ultrasound examination of whole abdomen will be required along with hormonal test to arrive at the correct diagnosis. Progesterone support may be required.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy S. Bhattacharjee, OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine
