Hello there,Welcome to the World of Healthcaremagic.
Your cheif complaint is bleeding when passing stools and being always tired and light headed.First let me tell you why bleeding occurs when passing stools.
1)Hemorrhoids(piles):-They are distended blood vessels in the
rectum and
anal canal. They are often pain less.when these veins distend they protrude out of anus but in initial stages when they are still in the anal canal the only symptom could be bleeding.
2)Anal fissure:-This is a cut in the anal canal .It causes bleeding associated with pain when passing stools
3)A growth in the rectum and anal canal.
4)
chronic liver disease.
In Your case an exact cause could be made out after complete history is known such as your age, duration of the complaint,is it associated with pain, any mass is felt after passing the stools ,any other associated disease particularly liver disorder, and wether you are on any drugs which prevent blood clotting etc.
After complete history taking a physical examination is required in which the anal canal is examined and an instrument called proctoscope is used to examine the anal canal and the rectum .
The
tiredness and light headedness could be because of bleeding when it is of long duration or large amount of blood has leaked in a short duration leading to
anemia which is decreased
hemoglobin ,a particle in the blood which carries oxygen BUT tiredness could be because of many many other conditions which require complete evaluation including investigations.
I would like to give you the following suggestions as initial steps in the management.
1)Take High fiber diet like green leafy vegetables and fruits.
2)Take plenty of oral liquids.
3)Do sitz bathing which is beneficial in any anal disease i.e., take warm water in tub and put 5ml of
betadine 10% solution and sit in for 5-10min thrice a day.. It prevents any infection from occuring there.
4)Get a CBP(complete blood picture) and Fasting and Post Lunch blood sugar levels as initial steps in the evaluation in tiredness.
Get a complete evaluation done at your general practitioner if You are having severe symptoms or from long duration.
It was my pleasure to give this advice through this wonderful platform of Healthcaremagic .Thank You.
