What Is Causing Bruising On Breast Which Is Purple/ Green In Color?

An aunt has some bruising on her breast. The last time she had anything similar was on her legs and the district nurses had put it down to collagen in her veins. The bruising on her breast looks similar - purple/green in colour. What causes this and should I be alarmed?

Hi,

I don't think that there is nothing much to worry about this condition. If it is due to collagen disorder then there is nothing much to worry. Still, a ultrasound examination of both breast needs to be done to rule out other causes.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
