What Is Causing Burning Red, Dry And Sensitive Face, Neck And Shoulders? Some Relief With Minocycline
I have a skin issue that seems to be getting worse. my face symptoms - burning, red, dries fast, very sensitive.my neck and shoulders burn and become very dry. minocycline seems to make it better for a couple of weeks and then it starts going the other way. ketoconazole seems to make it flush and then the flush slowly goes away. It does not bother me at night when I m sleeping, but it starts flushing in the morning around 11am. A little history I have been on antibiotics since 2008 and I think this might have something to do with it. I have been to several doctors and haven t had any luck. Can you offer any suggestions on what I could do to figure out what might be causing this issue

What Is Causing Burning Red, Dry And Sensitive Face, Neck And Shoulders? Some Relief With Minocycline
Hello, Thanks for the query, You might be suffering from rosaceae. It is an inflammatory condition of face, Mainly affecting the face, The vessels get dilated and hence face become red. You need treatment with topical anti inflammatory like metrogyl cream. Doxycycline is also helpful. A photograph woul have helped me in giving a closer diagnosis. Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
