What Is Causing Constant Dry, Swollen, Burning Upper Lips With Cuts And Bleeding In The End?
Hi, I have dry n swollen upper lips since months, i thought it was an allergy so took allergy medicine but it didnt affect, my GP said it could be angular chilitis or due to anemia so blood test was done..But the report comes next week and this week I hav been in lot of pain, it burning, swollen cant even open mouth much as corner has cuts that starts bleeding..vaseline has to be applied every few minutes..please help! thanku

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having angular stomatitis.
Now due to infection there are cuts on angle of mouth.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course.
Take vitamin B. complex, folic acid for few days.
Apply antibiotic cream or Gention violet locally.
Avoid wide opening of mouth.
Ok and take care.
