What Is Causing Headaches On Regular Basis? Is It Due To Head Injury Not Treated?

I have headaches on a regular basis in the back of my head just above my neck. Could you tell me what could be causing these? it does feel as if there may be inflammation. Several years ago I stepped out of a moving vehicle to keep my ex husband from beating me up again and yes I busted my head open on the lower right side and did not seek medical attention could that have something to do with the headaches

Hi,
The causes of headache that you describe could be multiple. On the top would be mechanical degenerative process in your neck vertebra as given by your history. Secondly, tension headache, as suggested by your broken relation. Thirdly, some pathology inside the skull . for which CT or MRI (of brain)with contrast is a must and MRV if you have recently delivered.
