What Is Causing Itching In Anal Area And Vagina While Having Monistat?

I have slight itching in the anal areas and around the areas of my vagina. I also have "flakey" white discharge with abnormal white dried discharge on my underwear. I started using Monistat 7 last night. How do I know when I will be better, because my itching wasn't bad from the beginning?

Hi ,
It could be due to helmenthic infection in which there are itching mostly during night , someone pain in abdomen n anal region , redness , lesions around anal region n very rarely discharge .
other causes are due to warts , haemorrhoids , cancer, allergic food in fecal material , allergies etc . As you have already taken mast cell stabalizer n anti histaminic so allergic things r ruled out n other cause have other main symptoms .
So in my opinion start a antihelmentic drug under guidance of you physician for 3 consecutive nights .
