What Is Causing Redness In Urethra And Sensitivity On Penis Head?

Hi, I noticed yesterday that there was a little redness inside my urethra. And it's just at the very top really small at that. Now IM not having any symptoms as if it we're an stds No cold sweats or no burning when I pee. But I noticed a Lil sensitiv org on the head of my penis. IM a Lil worried because I am sexually active and I use condoms except with one person. Just wanted to know what u might think it is.

Dear patient,

Thanks for the query. This is called a urethritis, or inflammation of the urethra, and the main differential diagnosis is infectious vs non infectious; infectious causes include trychomonas, chlamydia, mycoplasma, gonococcus, etc; non infectious causes mostly include reactive urethritis and contact dermatitis.

You need to be seen by a provider and urine and infectious tests should be ordered.
