What Is Causing Sharp Pains In Both Sides With Constipation And Nausea Feeling?
Yes thank you, I m having sharp pains in both my sides. I had diarrhea earlier but now is followed by constipation. I also feel very nauseous which is an ongoing thing but right now its really strong. What do you think could be wrong should I rush to emergency.

Hi,
Sharp pain on both sides of abdomen with a history of diarrhea followed by constipation and nausea can be due to a condition called colitis.
In this condition there is an intestinal infection that causes diarrhea, pain, nausea, vomiting and may be fever or so.
It seems that you might have taken some medications or the body's resistance power took over and the diarrhea got controlled.
Yes you should go to Emergency for the following reasons:
Clinical evaluation by a Doctor and fluid and electrolyte replacement by intravenous route if required.
Intravenous medications for nausea.
Tests of blood and stool.
Addition of antibiotic and probiotics as required as per the lab.
Symptomatic treatment for spasms/cramps and any other symptoms that may develop.
