What Is Causing Swelling In My Ankles?
My ankles swell up and goes up my leg sometimes. It s mostly my left foot and ankle. Sometimes my right ankle swells as well. My left hand swells too. If I m on my feet it gets scary and really bad. It s not like regular fluid either. When you press to make indention it doesn t like normal fluid. Recently my doc put me on low fluid pill. But doesn t really seem to help. What s causing this?

Hi,
It could be a sprain. As of now, immobilize the foot and apply icepacks for faster recovery. You can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and plan for an MRI scan.
