My mother is tachycardic, she has an oxygen saturation level that varies between 80-100. She recovered from aspirational pneumonia in january of 2014. I am concerned because her vitals vary tremendously for no apparent reason. She receives duoneb. I took her to a cardiologist and he has determined that her heart is functioning normally. Could you give me some insight into what might be the cause of her problems. What type of doctor can help treat her?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, you have not mentioned the heart rate here so I could consider the tachycardia, most of the increased heart rate are sinus in origin (Normal) and does not need any treatment and this may not be harmful, only arrhythmia would be matter of concern, I guess nothing may be serious with your mother, take care.
