I am a 50 year old woman, 135 lbs., 5'6" and in good physical condition. I was laying prone on a lounge chair with my arms over the end of the chair for about 40 min. yesterday. Since then, I have numbness that starts at the elbow (where I am experiencing a "knot feeling" everytime I bend my elbow) and goes down the forearm to the thumb. I was experiencing loss of motor control with the bicep, but that seems to be a bit better and it is just a little weak. I am concerned because it does not seem to be getting any better at this point.
