Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Is Causing The Pain In My Upper Abdomen And The Middle Of My Back?
I did quite a bit of activity, that I am not used to doing, over the weekend and woke up stiff and sore. When I sneeze, laugh, or tense my muscles in any way, I have horrible pain in my upper abdomen and around the middle of my back. Could this be a pulled muscle?
The symptoms can be related to a pulled muscle. I suggest using muscle relaxant such as Baclofen three times a day. I also suggest using magnesium supplements for muscle relaxation. I recommend to rest and avoid activities that can trigger the symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
