What Is Causing The Soreness And Itching Of Feet?

I returned from a 2 week visit to Myanmar and Thailand where I suffered from a severe swelling of my feet the entire time from the 15 hr flight going, to my return. the swelling never went down until I returned stateside. I had and still am experiencing burning sensation and aching, plus itching and soreness to touch on my upper feet even though swelling has completely gone, particularly around my ankles and toes. What is casing the soreness and itching?

Hi,

It may be contact allergic dermatitis with secondary infection. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. You may apply antibiotic with steroid cream. Take antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs may be taken. If needed, oral steroid may be taken in tapering dose. Avoid the contact with suspected allergens like soap, grass..etc.

Hope this helps.
