What Is Considered High BP ?
I also can feel my heart racing sometimes, and I get concerned because my son died of a heart disease in 2002. Should I be concerned also? My daughter has shown no signs of her brother s disease. I was adopted and know nothing of my family s medical history .

When your blood pressure measurement reading over '120/80' for young healthy adult for a period of time or the elevation is sustained and is not secondary to stress or bad news, it is considered as high blood pressure.
Genetic plays some role in heart disease, yet watch out your diet and exercise is also important. High salt diet may prone to high blood pressure as well.
