What Is Dosage Of Cytotec Needed For 3-4 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
Hello. Please I m pregnant. My last period was on the 9th of september 14. I did expect it on d 7th of oct 14. I missed it did a test and confrimed I was pregnant. I wanna do an abortion using cytotec. Pls what is the required dosage for a 3-4wks pregnancy. Its barely over a month since my last perod so I know its not up to 4wks. I really need your help. Thanks please.

For termination, you have to follow these things:
1) You must undergo medical abortion under the guidance of gynecologist, which will be helpful in emergency situation. Don't take those medicine by yourself without doctor's prescription.
2) By procedure, at first, you need to take Tab Mifepristone 200mg (ideally 600mg) on D1, after 48 hrs take 2 Tab Misoprostol or Cytotec 200mg in the morning and other 2 tabs need to insert inside vagina by doctor.
3) You may need double dose sometimes if proper bleeding DOESN'T start within 72 hrs. Soon after taking Tab Misoprostol, abdominal cramp and vaginal bleeding start within 7 days and next period may be earlier/delayed.
4) Post pill abortion, you must do a USG lower abdomen to check retained bits/ conceptional products if any and may need D &C to complete abortion.
5) Practice safe sex by using safe period/OCP/ other methods to prevent unwanted pregnancy.

Understand your concern.
You shold use abortion pill under the supervision of gynceologist to prevent complication.
Cytotec contain 4 tablet of 200 ug misoprostol.
Ideal dose is 800 ug: means 4 tablet of 200 ug either vaginally or sublingually.
If bleeding will not occur you can use maximum three times. (Total dose: 2400 ug)
But ideally should be used after 600 mg mifepristone.
Follow up USG is needed to confirm the incomplete abortion.
After using drugs take following advice:
Proper rest
Tablet meftal spas
Healthy diet with adequate vitamin and mineral supplements
Drink lots of drinks
Relaxation and stretching exercise
Take fruits like papaya, orange and pineapple
Maintain pelvic hygiene
Wear pure cotton loose inner wear
Use safer sex practice to avoid unwanted pregnancies.
Also check for foul smelling vaginal discharge for infection, that can be treated by antibiotics.
