My mother has occasional digestive disturbances.we have consulted several physicians with a common diagnosis that she has an allergic condition due to certain foodstuff.she does not have any intestinal diseases or any defect which has been deduced from the health tests conducted so far .she is not able to eat protein rich diets on a normal measure and according to their diagnosis it was found that she has lost her digestive power.what do we call this condition doctor and and what would be the diet u would recommend for her.i hope I'm concise in my query please pardon me if it reads a little out of context.
It seems to be digestive dysfunction and the most common cause could be chronic infection either it is the bacteria or protozoa or both together such case can be managed empirically with tablet Ofloxacin with Ornidazole twice in a day for five days.
Digestive disturbances, lost digestive power either the symptom or diagnosis is not proper, actual symptoms should be mentioned very clearly like it is the abdominal pain, abdomen distension with pain or without pain, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, dyspepsia and others like that but here the given complaint is not helpful, your detail history with age of the patient and exact symptoms will be appreciated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain
