Hello Dear
hanks for writing in health care magic. I would be happy to help you.
On the basis of signs and symptoms you have described, it is a case of Recurrent Ulcer. It is not always necessary that the underlying cause of
oral ulcer is
vitamin deficiency only. It can occur due to a number of factors like
-stress/anxiety
-oral trauma
-hormonal changes
-any underlying medical condition
Since its been 1 year for the problem I must advice to visit a specialist
dentist and discuss about the other investigative methods like biopsy, culture. He/she may advice few blood tests to rule out any type of underlying medical condition(infection/inflammation/deficiency) which can cause recurrent ulcers.
Meanwhile I am advising few things which provide her relief from the symptom
• Avoid hot and spicy food and beverages for few days.
• Eat more green leafy vegetables.
• Apply mucopain gel(Benzocaine) 5 minutes before having meal, it will make her meal pain free.
• Rinse mouth with Betadene/Viodine/Betakind gargle (contains
povidone iodine solution) easily available in medical stores, twice daily.
• Apply topical gel like Metrogyl-Dg Forte or Rexidine-M gel (commonly
chlorhexidine and
metronidazole combination). Use it thrice daily for 10 days.Tell her not to eat or drink anything anything after using the gargle or gel.
• Take Vizylac capsule (
lactobacillus sporogenes) twice daily for 7 days.
Most probably symptoms should start subsiding soon.
Hope this will help you. If there is any more query or question regarding this in your mind, you are free to ask any time.
Take Care
Regards
