What Is Sturgeon Forte Advised For?

Hi, Please comment on sturgeon forte 75mg. It is available in UK, and many Caribbean countries. I believe it is used for motion / seasickness, with a very good UK reputation, but I have never used it. I sail off shore, often singlehanded, so to be incapacitated through seasickness ( which often comes on very quickly and without warning,) can be life threatening. I have used prochlorperzine 25 suppositories since mid 80s - not easy to use, even difficult, and must lie down for 20-30 minutes afterwards. It is, however, very fast acting, and cannot be thrown up, as can a pill, so there is no chance of over or under medicating, a definite possibility with all pills. Thanks Shane I

Hello
Welcome here.
Stugeron is an antihistaminic and calcium channel blocker drug. It is used for vertigo and motion/sea sickness.
The side effects are not really bothersome. But it can cause drowsiness and blurred vision. So a caution is advised while taking this drug before driving. These effects wean off in half hour.
So take this drug atleast half hour before driving.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.
