Hi, At my request my doctor prescribed me Cicatrin ointment some six years ago. I used it when the dry skin alongside my finger nail beds got infected and went sceptic. Cicatrin with its antibiotic ingredient and Glycine ? would remove the inflammation overnight and the Glycine would sooth immediately. I tride to get another tube recently, but was told it s no longer available :-( My doctor prescribed me a tube of Fucidil which contains a mild steroid (which I m not happy about using) and the pharmacist then told me the cream can dry the skin, exactly the opposite of what I d expected ! Can you recommend a replacement for the brilliant Cicatrin please ? Many thanks
