What Is The Back Pain And Pressure In Chest After Taking Hyroco/AAP 5-325?

The Dr gave me a prescription for Hydroco/APAP 5-325. I took one last night and have not been able to sleep. I felt very bad all night, my chest, left arm and neck hurt and I just did not feel good. I just want to know more about it. I am not taking it anymore, but I still want to know about it. My back hurt when I laid down, that alone would not let me sleep, let alone the others.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

All medications have potential side effects that may or may not occur.

Hydrocod/apap is a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen.

Acetaminophen would not affect sleep and though hydrocodone can affect sleep , it normally causes drowsiness not difficulty sleeping.
There are other possible effects such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting , constipation.

You may want to consider speaking to your doctor about your symptoms.

I hope this helps
