What Is The Best Home Method Of Removing Staph Abscesses?

What is the best home method of removing staph abscesses? I have had MRSA previously on my neck and lanced the boil. I recently began to get two more boils on the back of my leg. I do not want to lance these ones or even go to the doctor if it is not necessary.

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

To treat a boil at home I suggest:
Apply warm compresses and soak the boil in warm water. This will decrease the pain and help draw the pus to the surface.
When the boil starts draining, wash it with an antibacterial soap until all the pus is gone and clean with rubbing alcohol.
Do not pop the boil with a needle.
Cover it with an antibiotic cream and a clean bandage.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
