Hello dear Understand your concern Mifepristone followed by misoprostol is safe and successful medicine for termination of 4 week of pregnancy that is in the uterus. Investigation like pelvic examination, USG and HB should be done before taking treatment. It should be use under the direction and medical surveillance of gynecologist. By method, mifepristone 600 mg should be followed by 800 ug misoprostol vaginally/buccally after 24 hour. Dose and schedule should be modified by gynecologist. Bleeding just more than period with clots and tissue and abdominal pain will start after 30 minutes of using last pill and whole abortion process will complete in 4-5 days. Post abortion USG should be done after 14 days to check incomplete abortion. 24 hour rest, proper pelvic hygiene, analgesic should be needed after abortion.
