Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to HCM

I can understand your concern but the fact is symptoms of opioid withdrawl are not easy to tolerate without detoxification treatment. For that you should visit a deaddiction specialist in your area for treatment (which sometimes need a opioid substitution therapy) and rehabilitation.

Good Luck

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I can understand your emotions. Your husband is already prepared for the anxiety and withdrawal symptoms. He made up his mind and therefore he is coping up well. He is prepared ant therefore he is doing it well. I request you not to interfere with his will power. He will be able to do it. Your role is limited to motivate him and be with him and support him fully.
