I am several different meds. Usually I won t try something without what the side effects are. I am bipolar at least that s what I m labeled. Along severe anxiety and manic depress. I still a lot of days wherebI freak out or blow over stupid things.. I ve always had a short fuse. How do I deal with a child whom refuses to take ADHD?
Hi dear, bipolar disorder requires a long term treatment. First of all treatment of bipolar disorder depend on stage like manic stage or depressive stage. If you are having manic phase than start with sodium valproate as it has sedative property if depressive phase start with lithium. Lithium is good drug for bipolar disorder. Also ECT is also good for bipolar disorder. If one who has ADHD and refuse to take medicine than you may mixed it with food. Consult psychiatrist for detail. Thank you
