What Is The Best Medicine For Headache And Throat Pain?

I have received a virus from my brother and it s been bothering me for the past three days. And two days ago, my throat starting hurting. Today, my headaches have been on and off and my throat feels swollen. I ve been take 500mg acetaminophen. Any specific medicines I should take?

Hi,
Viral infections are self limiting and generally takes about 5-10 days to recover.
Acetaminophene is a good choice would recommend that you take Acetaminophen 650 mg three times a day for three days and then as and when required, along with this you can do Betadine Gargles four times a day, continue to have a lot of liquids.
If the symptoms persists for more than 3-5 days or if the aggravate please get your Complete Blood Count done as there is also a good chance that you may have a super added bacterial infection and may require Antibiotics for the same.
