What Is The Best Medicine For High Blood Pressure?
Doctor,,, i am 53 years Male,,,, having high BP for the last 6 years,,, non diabetic,,,, no other complications,,,,I have been using telvas AM 40 mg for the last 4 years,,,, of late my BP is being high @140/96 ,,,, one doctor advised me to take nebistar 5 mg instead,,,, kindly advise,,,

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Both Telvas (telmisartan) and Nebistar (nebivolol) are two widely used drugs for high blood pressure treatment and make for excellent first choices. I wouldn't say one has major advantages over the other, you can try to switch to nebistar but that is not guaranteed to be more successful.
However it often happens for one drug not to be enough and treatment with more than one drug to be necessary. So if the switch doesn't work a combination of the two together or with another drug such as a diuretic may be considered.
