I had a serious kidney infection And had to go back to the doctor twice after the first visit And the doctor adviced me Both times the infection is still there And continued to keep my on antibiotics. Iv been on antibiotics for three weeks And tomorrows my last day , yet i am still having pain And discomfort. Today i also noticed a Bruise over my right kidney (the one that hurts) could this be somethinf more serious then just a kidney infection?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have kidney infection. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination test as well as culture and sensitivity test. You should also go for ultrasound abdomen and complete kidney function test. You should take antibiotics like levofloxacin or norfloxacin. It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
