What Is The Best Medicine To Avoid Pregnancy?

Hello, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend last night and I am wondering if I should take Plan B. I have been on a combination birth control pill since March, and have not missed a single pill in the last two months (and have been taking it around the same time every day-as early as 9pm and as late as midnight; but only ever a gap of 30 minutes to an hour of the time i took the night prior). I started spotting yesterday, and it was also the day of my first sugar pill (even though I was wanting to skip the sugar pill and continue with the next pack). I was sick last week and had slight diarrhea, but no vomiting. I am wondering if you recommend Plan B. Thank you

Hello dear
Understand your concern
As you regularly took oral contraceptive pill regularly since two months, chance of pregnancy is very less.
Also you have to take sugar pill instead of starting new pack.
Spotting may be due to side effect of the contraceptive pill.
Or it may be due to rough sex, vaginal infection and cervical dysplasia.
There is no need to take Plan B pill.
Diarrhoea and sickness may be due to gastrointestinal disturbance (stomach flue) that can be treated by antibiotic like oflaxocin and drink lots of fluid with oral dehydration solution. Take healthy diet with proper rest.
If period will delay by 10-12 days from normal expected period date (chance is less) then you have to think about pregnancy.
If you will pregnant, still you can terminate the pregnancy by using mifepristone plus misoprostol under advice of gynaecologist up to 9 week of gestational age.
Hope this may help you
Best regards
