Hi,

By planning, unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation, the possibility of pregnancy can be increased. In case of regular 28 to 30 days of menstrual cycle ovulation is expected between 13th to the 18th day of the menstrual cycle. During ovulatory period intercourse is recommended, preferably daily or al teast on alternative days as ovum will have around 24 hours of life period.

If your wife don't conceive even after this, you both may need evaluation. Clinical examination, ultrasound to wife and semen analysis to husband can help in finding the possible cause of the problem and treatment can be planned accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
