What Is The Best Treatment For An Ulcerated Sore?

A graze behind my knee has been exposed t sulfuric acid solution and has formed into an ulcerated acid sore!

What is the best treatment for this, I have used magnoplasm to draw out the acid, but it stings quite a bit and seems to inflame the area. I am using dermaveen cream on it now can you please help?

Hello,

I can understand your concern for ulcerated sore. YOU have not written the exact time since the sore is present so that we could have designated some of the important causes of the same.

In my patients with such a probelm I prefer to first give proper course of antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin for 7-14 days along with multivitamin tablets. A proper wound care is must to be followed.

In case if it is present from more than a month then a skin grafting is to be done.

All the best.
