Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

You seem to have Androgenetic Alopecia. Androgenetic alopecia (AGA), is genetically predetermined patterned hair loss in males and is the most common type of hair loss in males. Most of the times there is a family history on either the maternal OR paternal sides (even if it is not necessarily present in parents)

It is gradual, as you have noticed in your case, and can start any time after puberty.

Minoxidil and finasteride are FDA approved for this kind of hair loss.

However, they need to be used regularly, throughout life and are mainly beneficial in arresting further progression of hair loss.

Bontress lotion (contains capixyl) is also one of the newer treatment modalities for Androgenetic Alopecia. However it does'nt yet has FDA approval for Androgenetic Alopecia. It is recommended to be applied once daily at night. You may use it in the same way as minoxidil.

I would suggest that you could try Platlet Rich Plasma Therapy. PRP (Platelet rich plasma) is a newer modality for treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia. The beneficial effects of PRP in Androgenetic Alopecia can be attributed to various platelet-derived growth factors causing improvement in the function of hair follicle and promotion of hair growth.

It is safe, cheap, and non-allergic and it appears to be a useful adjunct in the management of AGA. To get satisfactory results, 2 - 3 treatments should be performed at intervals of 3-4 months. You need to use Minoxidil and finasteride along with PRP

Regards
