What Is The Best Way To Have A Medical Abortion?
Hi, it just turned out that my girl friend didn t see her flow this month and she aparently turned out to be positive after a urine test. We both have decided to terminate, so what is the best medical abortion prescription we could use that is most safe and effective?

Mifepristone followed by misoprostol (medical prescription is needed) is safe, effective and successful option for medical abortion of pregnancy (up to 9 week) if it is used under proper guidance and observation of gynecologist. Pre abortion investigations: pelvic examination, USG (for confirmation of intrauterine pregnancy of less than 9 weeks)
Dose and schedule:600 mg mifepristone should be followed by misoprostol 400 ug vaginally or orally after 24 hour. another 400 ug misoprostol after four hour under supervision of gynecologist. Dose should be modified by gynecologist in case of no bleeding.
Warning signs after using abortion pill: excessive and prolonged bleeding (> 2 pads/hour for 2 consecutive hours after 7 days ), excessive cramp, fouls vaginal smells. If occur immediately consult the gynecologist.
Post abortion advice: follow up USG after 14 days to confirm incomplete abortion, rest, analgesic, proper pelvic hygiene.
